7 Squishies We’d Definitely Keep on Our Desk

Some toys belong in a toy box.

Squishies don’t.

They belong on desks, shelves, bedside tables, bookcases and anywhere else you can reach them for a quick squeeze.

That’s part of what makes them so much fun. They’re colourful, tactile and just strange enough to make a boring space feel a bit more interesting.

So, if we were building the ultimate Squisheroo desk collection, these are the kinds of squishies we’d want within arm’s reach.
1. A Giant Butter Squishy

Obviously.

There’s something very funny about having a huge block of butter sitting next to your laptop, especially when its only job is to be squeezed.

It’s big, chunky and satisfying, which makes it perfect for those moments when you need something to fidget with while thinking.

Much better than squeezing your mouse.
2. A Chocolate Bar Squishy

The chocolate bar squishy looks almost too believable from a distance, which makes it a brilliant desk toy.

Its chunky shape gives you plenty to grip and squeeze, and the block design makes it look just like an oversized chocolate bar.

Just maybe don’t leave it next to your actual snacks.

That could get confusing.
3. A Capybara Squishy

Capybaras already have a reputation for looking unbelievably relaxed.

Turn one into a squishy and somehow they become even better.

A cute capybara sitting quietly on your desk feels like a very appropriate reminder not to take everything too seriously.

And if somebody asks why you have a huge piece of squishy cheese next to your computer?

7. Something Completely Ridiculous

This might actually be the most important one.

The best squishy collections usually have at least one toy that makes absolutely no sense.

Something oversized. Something oddly shaped. Something that nobody would ever expect to be turned into a squishy.

Because that’s half the fun.
Build Your Own Squishy Corner

You don’t need dozens of squishies to create a collection.

Start with one you really like, add another when something catches your eye and before long you’ll have your own little line-up of weird and wonderful characters.

Mix cute animals with food shapes. Add different colours and sizes. Pick squishies because they look funny or simply because they’re satisfying to squeeze.

There are no rules.
